Awesome CVS savings

July 15th, 2007 at 09:38 pm

Paid nothing but tax out of pocket. Had lots of coupons. This is what I got...

2 gal. milk
1 12 ct. Cottonelle
3 Pledge
1 Scrubbing Bubbles
1 Windex
1 16 ct. AA batteries
1 Loreal Vive shampoo
1 Loreal Vive conditioner
3 Excederin

Total came to $66.67, but with printabe coupons, Sunday inserts, and $7.00 in ECB, I only paid some change.

To update my challenge money...
bal: 2315.00
add: 70.00 (cvs-rounded up)
add: 70.00 (cakes)
total: 2455.00

I read an article in our local paper that said that CVS has the cheapest milk prices. I have to pick up some soon.

Honeichild, this week it is on sale for $2.99. My store runs out quick tho. When they are out, I get a raincheck. Also wal-Mart is "supposed" to price-match if you have the competitors ad.

I am impressed! I keep meaning to check out CVS, but never do. Any tips?

Mrs. Thrifty, I match up the sales, ECB promotions and coupons. Check out Hotcouponworld.com for more info. (Make sure you are settled in tho, you will be there awhile) Smile
