   Thanks for all the compliments. Really, it's not that hard. I enjoy doing it, so maybe that's a part of it. From this one cake, I have already recieved two more orders. Good thing....my DH is "gazelle intense" on paying the bills.

    Thanks Marie. I'm located in Texas. This cake is a half-sheet cake that feeds 30-40 people. This particular cake was $45.00.

    i know you posted this ages ago but i just stumbled across it now and wanted to say that cake looks great! at work i do things like that too, i am sort of a pastry chef assistant (sort of what an apprentice does but i dont want a trade out of it so i just say assistant!). Doesn't it always feel great when you finish something and it looks gorgeous? and the look on people's faces when they see it....!
    
    good work, and i hope that you get lots of other orders in as well.
