Not happy with a product?

February 28th, 2008 at 01:51 pm

Several weeks ago I bought two frozen items at the grocery store. When I went to open the package, the food was freezer burnt. Checked the experation date. Yep, out of date by one month. The people at the store are too lazy to rotate stock??? Called the 800 number on back of package, and recieved coupons for free items. Also let the store know that their stock was out of date. Management wasn't very happy! Got a refund from the store also.
Point is, call the 800 number on the back of products and give them your feedback (good or bad) and they will usually mail you generous coupons.

Counted the change in my cars ashtray. $33.50! Added to the challenge. Total now is $950.00.

Yes, I agree. Most companies really are concerned when they have issues. I emailed Blistex a few weeks ago. I purchased a three pack of lip balm that was supposed to have spa fragrances and essential oils. One of them smelled like Ivory soap, it was yucky! They responded to the email and sent me several of their other balms and coupons. You bet I will buy their product again!

It's also smart to contact the company on a product you like. I have received wonderful coupons doing that!

Great idea. I am going to remember that. I usually just return stuff to the store and forget about the manufacturer. I have something that I bought for a gift last week that doesn't work. I am contacting them tonight!
