Facebook and other odds and ends.

Because of a friends urging I created a Facebook acct. Long story short, I'm addicted. I've connected with a lot of old friends. Ones that I have lost touch with many moons ago. It's exciting to catch up with these people. Hopefully I can get *something* productive done today.

Adding $8.00 to the challenge bringing the total to $180.00.

    yes facebook is very very cool. I understand the addiction- it only lasts 6 months or so before you will be bored of it. I promise.

    yes it's true - for me lasted less than six months. but i do log on every day now still Big Grin but only spend about two minutes checking what everyone is up to. it is even more useful now though because our close friends are always up to something, having babies, getting married etc

    Farmtown was my addiction on FB for a while. But Whitestripe is right...it lasted less than a few months and now I am hardly on there.

    Facebook is starting to disturb me. I'm not so sure I WANT to be "friends" with most of my classmates. They weren't exactly friendly to me back then. It's a really weird phenomenon in my mind.

    I am living overseas right now, and finding FB to be a really nice tool for staying in touch with family and friends far away. However, it leads to some awkward moments when people you scarcely know (or don't like much) want to "friend" you! At any rate, I like having some insurance that I can post pics of my daughter for the rest of my family to enjoy, and vice versa. It's easy, and I like it most of the time...
